For over a decade, we have supported leaders and entrepreneurs to succeed in business and transformation. Touching the lives of thousands of leaders and entrepreneurs across private, public and third sectors. 2024 presents a unique moment in the evolution of leadership. As a pioneer in establishing the profile of digital leadership, it’s now time for a big upgrade. An upgrade in leadership mindset, energy and technology fluency. So that upgrade also relates directly to us and our services to market.

As leaders and entrepreneurs, we all know success can be directly measured by the truth of our mindset and belief system. Our mindset and beliefs drive our behaviours, actions and words.  

The world today requires significant shifts in leadership behaviour and actions. We are in a world where the AI revolution is being compared to the dawn of electricity. The end of 2024 also marks the end of Generation Alpha, predicted to be the largest generation in humanity and one of the most powerful, influential generations we have ever known. This is all happening in a world that is more complex than ever before – with high rates of anxiety and increased polarisation in the workplace.  

Let’s face it, we are still trying to recover from COVID, from Brexit and still trying to navigate conflicts and a planet in need of greater consideration and support. 

That’s some big stuff right there!  And when you look deeper you see the opportunity is at the least equal to the challenge. So, when you apply all this to leadership it becomes a big deal in our minds here at Adapt2Digital. That’s why we’ve made a huge upgrade in our work and approach too. 

 
WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?

We are prioritising our mentoring and coaching services, whilst slowing down our practitioner work to focus where our expertise is best placed – with leaders and entrepreneurs.   

To herald this, we are also launching Digital Leadership 2.0. We believe these shifts are so significant that using Digital Leadership is no longer enough. 

Digital leadership 2.0 is about developing a growth mindset in an AI-enabled world. That takes focus, effort and deep support. Something we provide through our mentoring and coaching services, and something we believe is a linchpin in helping organisations and cultures thrive and contribute to a better and brighter future for all.

Our mission hasn’t changed: To change the world of business and work one person at a time.

Last year, we launched our new products and services into the Couplepreneurs (a couple who own and run a business together) market. This market is growing year on year but is usually lost within the wider family business segment. Couplepreneurs also represent a unique contribution to society and our future in terms of relationships.


First, we must build visibility of this market and give them the voice they deserve. To do this we encourage couples in business to complete this short survey so we can start to do just that.  

However, fundamentally, the lack of dedicated focus on this growing market has left customised products and services lagging, none more so than in development and support services like mentoring and coaching. For this reason, we have pulled our own experience and knowledge from working with couplepreneurs since 2017 into a unique offer. Find out more here.  

Adapt2Digital was founded 2013 designing digital strategies and soon evolved to provide digital leadership development, mentoring, coaching and training services. From inception we have helped leaders and practitioners leverage digital technology, harness data and manage disruptions by upgrading their mindset and belief systems. In 2014 we launched our Leadership Mindset Assessment, a maturity profiling tool now used all over the world by leaders and transformation teams to measure modern mindset and develop modern mindset maturity to succeed in change and transformation. In 2015, following an extensive period of research and field work, we launched The Dilyn Way™, a unique framework and approach leveraging modern mindset theory to humanise change and transformation. Today this same framework, now in version 10.0 release continues to support leaders and practitioners humanise transformation to accelerate success and achieve sustainable results over time. 

ABOUT THE FRAMEWORK

The Framework has grown in depth to encompass a body of knowledge used today by practitioners and professionals all over the world, training as professionals in modern mindset and the techniques for humanising transformation. Our training enables practitioners use the Framework and/or its associated leadership diagnostics and training tools to identify, build and evolve modern leadership. The framework can be used to assess and develop modern leadership, to design and deliver human centred transformation and bring humanity to the heart of any project or program. Since 2019 The Dilyn Way™ has taken its place centre stage as an International Framework and Body of Knowledge for Digital Leadership and Digital Transformation, never moving far away from it’s core focus - helping to bring a new leadership mindset and identity to organisations all over the world so they can make the world a better and brighter place.

Every certification program also takes the trainee on a journey of self transformation to emerge as an active participant in digital transformation and role models in human centred leadership. 

Our digital mentor certification and coaching certification was launched in 2017 and is now sought after by business coaches and mentorrs who share a passion for evolving our idea of leadership and looking to differentiate in a growing market.

The Framework is unique in several areas - none more important than its foundational roots. Grounded in the Humanity Principle, the Framework advocates that:

  1. Adaptive in focus: Twice a year research, analysis and feedback informs two key updates, which also flow into our products and tools.  

  1. Scope: The Framework exists in two parts - Part 1 providing a structure for awareness, alignment and assessment. Part 1 providing a transformation approach for activation, amplification, advancement and attraction. 

  1. Holistic: We see the human as a whole. We focus on the external capabilities and skills leaders require in a changing world as well as the internal qualities that define who we are as human. 

  1. Contextual: All too often digital transformation is seen as a promise of the future - a better world. Leaving today as something separate. This divide creates choice. We help leaders apply small elements of their future vision in the practice of their leadership today using our transformational approach.

Mel Ross 

Founder

Mel is a thought leader and pioneer in Digital Leadership as an identity. She is also Chief Architect of The Dilyn Way™. Mel led Disney Channel’s Marketing for Emerging Markets and was a representative on the Digital Strategy Team before taking on the role of CMO at a professional services company to drive their digital and modernisation efforts. 

Mel has been mentoring and coaching Digital Leadership over 15 years and it's her passion. Seeing people leave fear and uncertainty at the door, then enter a world of excitement and discovery all thanks to the digital age. 

Mel provides digital advisory to Executive Teams and Boards as well as continuing her commitment to 121 mentoring to help build the digital leaders of the future. Mel is also a regular speaker and contributor at conferences and events and always happy to enter into a debate about what the future has in store! 

Mel is a Fellow of the Association of Business Mentors. A mentor and coach for entrepreneurs working through the UK Government HTG scheme. Mel is also an Associate Partner with Gunnercooke LLP where she tutors on the following subjects: MBA, Directors Development, Strategic Management, Leadership in Action, Excellence in Processes and Projects and Non Executive Director Development.

Mel brings training and qualifications from multiple areas to her work including: Positive Psychology, Positive Intelligence (PQ), Neuroscience, Neuroplasticity and Neurogenesis, Leadership Energetics, Breathwork, Mindfulness, Sound Therapy and other Ancient techniques that are becoming proven and relevant to Digital Leadership 2.0.

Mel lives in West Sussex with her New Zealand husband and 14 year old mongrel who’s DNA results looked like a copy of War and Peace!
