— The Human & Social Systems Framework for Change & Transformation

Adapt2Digital Introduction

For over 10 years we have been supporting leaders and practitioners succeed in transformation. Working with thousands of leaders and change practitioners across private, public and third sectors to embed modern mindset into leadership and change practice.

  • Putting humanity at the heart of transformative

  • Capturing hearts with transformational visions

  • Developing modern mindsets across leadership teams

  • Supporting change professionals design and deliver humanised transformation to accelerate success.

In 2017 we started training the practitioners leading change and transformation for our customers in our framework. Now we have qualified professional practitioners all over the world able to humanise transformation and bring a modern mindset into an organisation's change methodology.

6 years on, with hundreds of case studies and thousands of human stories – we are bringing the framework for humanising transformation and modern mindset to change practitioners all over the world. Opening the framework is an exciting moment for me, it is a recognition of the work and courage displayed by our customers over the years, the belief they have shown in the framework and our work. And of course, the results speak for themselves.

Now, training and qualifying in the framework for humanising transformation and developing a modern mindset is available to project managers, change practitioners, and people professionals worldwide.

When we started life at Adapt2Digital we helped organisations navigate the digital world by focusing in on the human. As the world continues to change around us, our work has become increasingly powerful for leaders and change professionals, helping them to navigate the human side of change.  How we have done this is by seeing the human as the centre of everything, focussing on these three priorities first:

  • Your role as a central point in all change

  • Active leadership

  • Mindset shift.

Whether you are a project manager, an HR professional or a change practitioner, you are a key success factor in any change you are involved in. You are a catalyst and a role model; you are the seed of trust. Therefore, you must recognise your role as an active leader and share your experience of a mindset shift.

Leaders so often become involved in transformation based on two reasons – they have a lofty vision for the future which they want to bring to life, or they are assigned responsible ownership for transformation within the organisation. Either way – a successful transformation cannot exist without trust, trust in that future. Culture shifts by looking up to these leaders for evidence to trust in the future, the driver of engagement.

Change practitioners and people professionals work tirelessly to motivate people to engage with and around change. Our work supporting these colleagues and those leading and managing projects and programs has always led to the same guiding principle. Successful transformation of any kind requires something deeper than knowledge or behavioural shift, transformation by its very definition is a journey of transformation in terms of who we are. It is therefore deeper than behavioural change and needs to support lasting change over time. What we are talking about is a mindset shift.

As a project, change or people professional, as a leader or entrepreneur – understanding your role as a central point, engaging active leadership, and understanding modern mindset theory we have learnt is fundamental if you are to succeed in transformation, or support others in transforming.

When we become participants of change, activate leadership around us and bake modern mindset theory into the design and delivery of our transformational visions, we are humanising transformation. When we humanise transformation, we accelerate success and develop sustainable transformation that lasts long after any project of the program has finished – because we and the people we are supporting have become transformed.

About Adapt2Digital

Adapt2Digital was founded 2013 designing digital strategies and providing digital leadership development and training services. From inception we have helped leaders and practitioners leverage digital technology, harness data and manage disruptions using Modern Mindset theory. In 2014 we launched our Leadership Mindset Assessment, a maturity profiling tool now used all over the world by leaders and transformation teams to measure modern mindset and develop modern mindset maturity to succeed in change and transformation. In 2015, following an extensive period of research and field work, we launched The Dilyn Way™, a unique framework and approach leveraging modern mindset theory to humanise change and transformation. Today this same framework, now in version 9.0 release continues to support leaders and practitioners humanise transformation to accelerate success and achieve sustainable results over time.

about the framework

The Framework has grown in depth to encompass a body of knowledge used today by practitioners and professionals all over the world, training as professionals in modern mindset and the techniques for humanising transformation. Our training enables practitioners use the Framework and/or its associated leadership diagnostics and training tools to identify, build and evolve modern leadership. The framework can be used to assess and develop modern leadership, to design and deliver human centred transformation and bring humanity to the heart of any project or program. Since 2019 The Dilyn Way™ has taken its place centre stage as an International Framework for Human & Social Systems & Transformation, but never moving far away from it’s core focus - helping to bring a new leadership mindset and profile to organisations and government all over the world.

Today we provide certification to corporate/executive coaches and digital practitioners in the Human & Social Systems Business change for Digital Transformation. We work all over the world enabling these two core audiences design, deliver and embed leadership transformation across business and government. Leadership that is competent, confident and purposeful - playing the central and active role in digital transformation it was always meant to play.

Every certification program also takes the trainee on a journey of self transformation to emerge as an active participant in digital transformation and role models in human centred leadership.

Our digital practitioner certification and coaching certification programs were launched in 2019 and are now sought after certification qualifications for those digital practitioners and coaches who share a passion for evolving our idea of leadership, helping leaders to travel their own transformation journey to emerge as effective leaders in a world we describe in 4-D (Digital-Data-Disruption & Design).

The Framework is unique in several areas - none more important than its foundational roots. Grounded in the humanity principle, the Framework advocates that:

The gift of the age we live in is our ability to reconnect with humanity. Where humans can design, deliver and coexist with machines and technology in an ethical, open and responsible way.

In addition to this the Framework is also unique in the following areas:

  1. Adaptive in focus: Twice a year research, analysis and feedback informs two key updates, which also flow into our products and tools.

  2. Scope: The Framework exists in two parts - Part 1 providing a structure for awareness, alignment and assessment. Part 1 providing a transformation approach for activation, amplification, advancement and attraction.

  3. Holistic: We see the human as a whole. We focus on the external capabilities and skills leaders require in a changing world as well as the internal qualities that define who we are as human.

  4. Contextual: All too often digital transformation is seen as a promise of the future - a better world. Leaving today as something separate. This divide creates choice. We help leaders apply small elements of their future vision in the practice of their leadership today using our transformational approach.

The TEAM

We have a lean team at its core, supporting the business world and public sector in two ways:

  1. Spreading the Dilyn Way™ Framework and approach through speaker events and authorship.

  2. Building a global community of Certified Coaches, Mentors and Practitioners who use, deploy and support the ongoing development of the model and product portfolio.
